- SMART LAUNDRY CONNECT – CUSTOMER SERVICE AGREEMENT

This Agreement governs customer use of Smart Laundry Connect and is subject to the Nigeria
Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Platform Role
Smart Laundry Connect is a technology intermediary connecting customers to independent
Laundry Partners. Laundry services are not performed directly by Smart Laundry Connect.
- Data Processing Consent
By using the Platform, you consent to:
- Collection and processing of personal data.• Sharing of necessary data with Laundry Partners strictly for service delivery.
- Communication related to your orders.
Consent may be withdrawn, subject to service limitations.
- Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
- Provide accurate personal and order information.
- Remove valuables from clothing.
- Declare delicate or special-care items clearly.
- Payments and Transactions
- Payments may be processed via third-party providers.
- Smart Laundry Connect does not store sensitive card details.
- Loss, Damage & Claims
Claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.
Liability rests with the Laundry Partner, subject to service terms.
However, Smart Laundry Connect take complaints seriously and sort to mediate between the
customer and the laundry partner to a conclusive resolution.
- Limitation of Liability
Smart Laundry Connect shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses to the extent
permitted by Nigerian law.
- Governing Law

- Data Protection Obligations
Laundry Partners act as Data Processors under the NDPA and must:
- Process customer data only on Smart Laundry Connect’s instructions.
- Use data solely for order fulfillment.
- Protect data against unauthorized access.
- Confidentiality
Partners must:
- Keep customer data confidential.
- Not store customer data outside the Platform unnecessarily.
- Never sell, share, or reuse customer data.
- Access Control
- Only authorized staff may access customer information.
- Login credentials must not be shared.
- Devices used must be reasonably secure.
- Breach Notification
Any suspected data breach must be reported to Smart Laundry Connect within 24 hours for
NDPC escalation where required.5. Service Conduct
Partners must:
- Deliver services professionally.
- Communicate respectfully.
- Avoid off-platform solicitation of customers.
- Non-Compliance
Violations may lead to:
- Suspension;
- Termination;
- Reporting to relevant regulatory authorities.
- Policy Updates
Partners will be notified of updates to comply with evolving NDPA regulations.
- Acknowledgement
By remaining active on the Platform, Laundry Partners and customers confirm compliance with
NDPA requirements.
